Description

Ported to OBJ from the low-poly model created by Coxxon for video game modding purposes, and which has since turned up in all kinds of fan mods for various space-based video games.  Preview picture posed in XNALara XPS.  You can download marian87's SketchUp port of Coxxon's model from her account over at Google's 3D warehouse, although you'll have to export it yourself to other 3D model formats if that's what you need.  If your 3D software doesn't support importing SKP format models, then I'd suggest you use the download as Collada DAE option (that's a universal model format) and then get and use the free ModelConverterX utility to port it.  Here's the model download link:

This is the NuBSG successor to the original Colonial shuttle used in TOS.  Both exist in the world of NuBSG, as Boxey's late father flew a TOS style Mark I model to the space station to meet with the Cylons at the start of the show and you can clearly see it in the external shots right before the station is destroyed.  Basically the Mark II is a more refined, streamlined, and somewhat more aerodynamic take on the older Mark I, although it still retains its general shape, is roughly the same size, and has a very similar internal layout.  Oh, and like the Mark I it has a drop-ramp style large hatch under its forward section for loading and unloading large cargoes, a single ground vehicle (up to landram size), and so on.  Like the Viper Mark II this was a wonderful tip of the hat to TOS and one of NuBSG's better aspects in the opinion of many of us.  Something old, something new ....   XD

May the blessings of the Lords of Kobol go with you.
