This is the military headquarters of the Federation in the original Blake's 7 television series. It also serves as chief villainess Servalan's main seat of power during the first two seasons of the series. There is apparently more than one, given that the filming model is clearly marked FEDSAT2 and the apparent location changes from time to time assuming only one, but only one is ever featured at any time if so. Most likely there are a series of these with one main overall HQ base and several regional HQ bases, all on nearly identical stations but in different places within the Federation -- much like the starbases and Starfleet HQ in the Star Trek multiverse, although this is never made clear at any point during the show. According to the second season episode, "Trial," Space Command effectively ran the Federation, and there at times throughout the series when Servalan herself is apparently answerable to Space Command's highest echelons. The main Space Command station is badly damaged in an attack by Blake and the Liberator at the end of the events depicted in "Trial," and although it survives it pretty much drops off the radar for the rest of the original series. One can safely assume that it was later repaired and returned to service given its importance.
