Description

Ported to OBJ from the SketchUp model created by RedShoulders. Based on the original design as featured in the Legend of the Galactic Heroes (LoGH) anime series. Preview picture posed in XNALara XPS. You can download and port for yourself the original SketchUp models of either the RedShoulders original or the later take by SirTophamHatt. Here are the links:

This was the standard space battleship design of the Free Planets Alliance as featured in LoGH, starting with the pilot movie and continuing for the rest of the series. It was the backbone of their fleet and was frequently used for flagships by senior Free Planets Alliance squadron and fleet commanders. It was also their largest spaceship capable of a planetary landing and takeoff. No class name is ever given although we do learn the name of selected individual class members. On the whole they were smaller than their Imperial counterparts and their weapons had slightly less range, although they were more heavily armed and armored and were "models of efficiency" in comparison. The most famous of these was Ulysses, one of the flagships at one point of Admiral Yang Wen-Li, one of the two major protagonists in LoGH.
