Description
Ported to OBJ from the SketchUp model by Steve Gillow. Preview picture posed in XNALara XPS. You can download Mr. Gillow's original SketchUp model from either of the links below from Google's 3D Warehouse (along with his take on the Thunder Fighter BTW) although you'll have to port it yourself if you need it in a different 3D model format. You can do that by either getting the appopriate importer, plug-in, or script for your preferred 3D software if it doesn't already have support for SKP model files, or you can download in Collada DAE format (that's universal) and use the free ModelConverterX utility. Anyway, here are those links:

This was one of the best things to come out of the second and final season of Buck Rogers in the 25th Century. It has no official name and is known simply as Hawk's ship, after the humanoid named Hawk who owns and operates it. It is as incredible a craft as its owner and operator, and for more information on both you can watch the Buck Rogers season two feature-length premiere episode "Time of the Hawk."
This is the only free 3D model of Hawk's ship of which I currently know. Fortuantely it's a good one and it ports very easily regardless of what porting path you take, although you might have to spend some time reflipping normals. Common issue with ported SketchUp models (grin). The only other bug-a-bear is that there's no good way to port SketchUp panel lines, so all of those are going to be lost in the porting process and that's why my port looks so flat and dull compared to Mr. Gillow's original. You can fix that on your end with custom textures, extra greebling, or a mixture of both.
Please be sure to credit Steve Gillow if you use his model of Hawk's ship from Buck Rogers in the 25th Century in any of your own projects. Thank you.
TRIVIA - The unofficial name for this among Buck Rogers fans is the Warhawk. One word and without the inner "H" capitalized, so as to avoid confusion with the SFB Rommie TOS era War Hawk class light cruiser.
ASIDE - This is a natural for conversion to a Romulan ship, fellow Trek fans. Other fans have already converted the Thunder Fighter and further modded/retextured it for various Trek uses, so why not Hawk's ship too? XD
