SHE PROMISED!!! - Jodie is referring to an earlier statement that Brandy said to her back in the first season episode "The Competition," not long after Alan joined the firm. Brandy declared she was disinterested in him, as she was still sitting out the singles scene at the time, and encouraged Jodie to go after him with everything she had, since she knew Jodie was definitely interested in him. That promise was made before Brandy decided to start seeing more of Larry, but it's been understood by Brandy, Kimmy, and Jodie as still being in effect with regards to Alan and Jodie's intentions towards him ... until now and Jodie's overactive imagination. Here's a link to the relevant page from "The Competition."

I had to cut part of Jodie's drafted dialogue due to limited space on the web comic page. The full version of her outburst from my draft reads, "She's mine! I'm gonna kill her! So help me, she's MINE!!!"

What some people will do to get on the news - Or on television, or on an Internet streaming video, or whatever. It's a good thing Kerry and her cameraman think Jodie's just trying to get attention, otherwise they might have had a real story on their hands.

There's always a nut in every crowd - This is a variation on the saying "there's one in every crowd," an English expression (with analogs in other languages) that goes so far back that nobody's really sure where it comes from. The "one" is someone who doesn't fit in with "the crowd," as in the exception to the rule, and there's also a variety of ways on how to both interpret and express that. Go with what works for you.

You might remember Kerry's cameraman from the second season episode "Brandy's Big Chance." He's being played by the Tomb Raider: Underworld version of Zip. I downloaded that version of him for XPS years ago and the link appears to be long gone; however, here's a link to an XPS port of Zip's Tomb Raider 7 incarnation courtesy of Henry'sDLCs:

There's a chance you might find Zip's TRU model in these old XPS model packs for one of the earlier XNALara XPS releases (v7.2!) along with a lot of other classic TR franchise XPS models, provided the link is still good, but no promises and no guarantees they'll work with later versions of the program:
