I was looking for something that gave me inspiration to write Scar's reaction to Sarafina's 'accidental' death. This is perfect, beautiful drawing, and I love the moon hanging there!

Not officially, but in my universe, she did during Scar's reign, leading, in part, to his madness and distain for the rest of the pride. She was killed by hyena in reference to the musical, in which its stated she killed one of the main trio's(can't remember which) father.

Since you're a TLK fan I would like to share that in the TLK Blu-Ray extra stuff there *is the scene in which Scar attempts to make grown Nala his queen. If you didn't know, then you know now
