Them shines! They make his armor so smooth looking, like he just rolled out of manufacturing, or... however these StarDroids were created. I really love the hint of glow you give the shines. I've never understood how to get that effect in my own work, so when I see it in others art I can't help but admire it.
The light sources and color blending are also excellent. Very much co-existing and not forced looking at all. I'm also really drawn to those eyes. Always loved that kind of shearing, refracting light effect. No idea how you did that so well either.
Another wonderful piece. Adding this to my favorites!

This is the first time I did the glow, and I'm glad it turned out so well. Sometimes it's just a matter of experimenting and see what goes right. and should a happy accident occur, write it down so you can repeat it XD

A good recommendation indeed, writing it down! I wish I can remember to do that with art techniques, as I can remember to do that with many other things!XD
Sometimes the first time we try things is the best attempt we ever make of it, at least I find it that way with many of my art projects.... Funny how that works. Righto, experimenting is a big part of art! I forget that now and again. I make way too many "safe" art pieces and don't go out of my comfort zone nearly enough. Need to get into experimentation again.

Very nice piece of work, indeed! I like how Hitoshi Ariga made their eyes black because it makes them more evil and alien. Good job. Also, did it ever occur to anybody that Terra might at some chance be inspired from Raditz?

Thanks! And could be. Inafune did take a lot of inspiration from outside sources. Terra looks like a rip of maybe DBZ/Saint Seyia maybe.

Not just sinister. I think he made Terra and the Stardroids look and feel really alien, something the original design lacked.
