Takuma Sakazaki from King of Fighters and Art of Fighting, OR also known as the original Mr. Karate.So technically the visitor REDUX vote was for Takuma, however I had 2 ways I could go with this REDUX, I could have done straight up Takuma, OR I could have gone with his alter ego Mr. Karate. To be honest I just decided it would be more fun to draw Mr. Karate and I stuck with that.
Mr. Karate has been portrayed as both a serious fighter and a joke character depending on which game he has shown up in. However I was a lot more interested in the serious (akuma esque) version of Mr. Karate and I wanted to have people see this REDUX and know that this version isn't a character you want to take lightly and could destroy their opponent. So my design gives him a little more sinister look with the chains and the red rim light, but he can be seen as either an evil or a hero type of character depending on how you like to play.

Love the detailing on Mr.Karate..he looks absolutely Menacing..like more dangerous than Akuma..great detailing on the costume as usual mate!You are truly an inspiration

Now that is the Mr.Karate I've always loved.. because of how he was marketed later.. people hate on him so much.. they forget that underneath that mask is Takuma and tAKUMA whoops major ass.
