May Lee from the King of Fighters series.Part Taekwondo student part super hero in training, May Lee is an odd one for sure. It's interesting that Kim Kaphwan has had so many influences on other SNK character designs over the years, and May Lee is no exception with the added bonus that she has an alternate hero mode.
Since I can't show 2 mode in one picture I could have handled the REDUX in either 1 of 2 ways. Either go all the way with the Taekwondo look or go all the way with the Hero look. I decided to try and focus a little more on the Hero aspects of her out fit with the emphasis on the gloves and scarf.
Her look is not to far from her original, but I tried to make it feel like a more cohesive package instead of a disjointed 2 mode style. The scarf I felt needed to be more unique than just the Hanzo esque version she wore previously. I also updated her belt and moved the grinning frog down to her pant leg. I thought it would be cool if right before she kicked her opponent square in the face the last thing they would see is a giant grinning frog coming at them full speed lol.

She looks so much older than she does originally. I love the outfit, especially the pants-I want them!-and the belt. My only thing is that for her, the hair is a bit too simple. Don't you think? I think she could have had a more almost radical hairstyle, especially for the hero aspect of her. But that's just what I think.

Good point, the hair is hard to do with these character because its a defining feature for alot of them, and without a certain look people may not know who it is entirely.

Not a bad choice you made with the Hero way. it would be even more embarassing if the frog on her pants could make the sound like those pesky frogs do in metal Gear Solid 3 when you shoot one. Kyo,Angel, and May Lee are the only 3 characters that I have major trouble using in all of the KOF.

Ours I liked you devastated in visually face I adore his art she and fantastic.... I adored the colors very well the same heheheh. (A suggestion in near will happen I try the Soiree Meira tastes of this character and quite legal) Congratulations that one was a show of ball since I am his fan of his incredible art.^__^

LOVE IT! One of my fav KoF girls, awesome. I really like the details like her Hero Mode Frog on the pant leg. This is very in character, and truelly is a package of both TKD and Hero mode, kudos to You!
