Description
There is no section devoted to layer styles so I guess "actions" is the closest to it.A SET OF STYLES FOR PHOTOSHOP CS2
These are the styles I have used in many of my Christmas and holiday wallpaper packs. Decided to share them.
REMEMBER THAT DEPENDING ON THE SIZE OF THE IMAGE YOU ARE ADDING THE STYLE TO, YOU MAY NEED TO OPEN YOUR LAYER STYLES PALETTE AND TWEAK THESE SOME.
THESE WHERE MADE IN CS2 ...I HAVE NO IDEA IF THEY WILL WORK IN ANY EARLIER VERSION OF PHOTOSHOP OR NOT.....THEY ARE .ASL FILES
HOW TO USE;
1. Extract the file to program files/adobe/adobe photoshop cs2/presets/styles
2. Load the styles from the styles palette using the fly out menu in the top right hand corner.
ENJOY...STEVE

BTW, I've been meaning to ask people something. How, when, and on what do you use styles on? I've only used them for fonts. Used them once like a gradient. What how do you actually use it on?

ooh well there are a ton of things you can use styles for...layer styles are nice to have but once you start making your own and say its something that you will use over and over again..its nice to save that style so you can just click it later and add that effect without having to second guess how you made it origianly

How do I stick them into the program once I extract them?

Go to c/programs files/adobe/photoshop/presets/styles and drop them into that folder.. Now the next time you load photoshop they will be there. youll have to manually go get them through the styles menu though just like changing brushes or gradients.

I can't believe I can't find this. Is it under one of the tabs at the top, like in file, edit, image, one of those. I have serious problems with this kind of stuff.
