Adorable! The yellow eyes stand out well against the purple fur, and the ectoplasmic tail is a nice touch. We look forward to seeing what it evolves into.

the eyes are a bit creepy consider making them rounder to make it more friendly looking and it doesnt really resemble a water type at all and i dont think giving it the colour blue is gonna fix that
i would just give it some fins er something stereotypically water related
