Description
End-match overview of not just what I assume is the Tien captain's gear, but also of the America environment. See how, ah, pixelly the ground is? (I like to think this is some part of Washington DC. Considering how futuristic the game's setting is--why else would skydiving be considered a popular spectator sport with running commentary?--this may not be D.C. as you'd know it.IMO only thing that's wrong with Tien is their container design. Orange does not go with purple and pink, Banpresto. At least, I think it doesn't...Β

It is! Beautiful piece of work, this thing is. Haven't used it in a while 'cause college, but it's incredibly useful.
Too bad PCSX2 requires a beefier PC.

What kind of rig do you have? I can run PCSX2 without too many frame drops.Β
Then again, I built my PC myself in October.

This thing? It's a Toshiba Satellite; a work laptop, really. It's got an Intel HD Graphics card--that should tell you how stupid underpowered it is.
Although I did get it on Memorial Day (May 25th here in the States) this year, and it can run CS:GO pretty well in 720p, with anti-aliasing turned off andΒ all other settings set high.

Ahh, I see.
Well, CS:GO is designed with CPU power in mind, not so much GPU. That's why it runs so well on your laptop.
Are you interested in computers at all?

Eh. Not really. I don't really geek out about GPU and CPU power--I think CPU power's more for software rendering while GPU power is used for hardware rendering--but I do know the major difference between PC and console when it comes to graphical perfomance. Unreal Engine 3 games don't seem to do too well on this thing, so I'm starting to guess it's a pretty GPU-heavy engine. Kinda puts a damper on my eventual plans to install and run ME1 and 2.

Ahh. I'm a pretty big nerd, to be honest. That's why I built my own $500 PC xD
But the CPU is more for like deciding what needs to be loaded, what's happening, and running the framework of the programs/games. The GPU is focused on all graphics rendering.
Yeah, I wouldn't expect the Unreal Engine to work that well on a laptop. Also, the Intel HD Graphics? That's the graphics processor that comes inside of the CPU, which means your laptop doesn't actually have a dedicated graphics card in it. So I'm not surprised that PCSX2 or ME 1 and 2 would not work on it.

I actually haven't installed either yet. I bet I'll be fine though; ME1, for instance, is a pretty old game now, so I think I'll be able to handle it. It's just the engine that worries me.
Also, if I may plug something else; check out the reference sheets I had made of my OC/ fursona, Balto Stilson. He's very much fair game for RPs, like I did with my old Sonic OC skydiver Angel the Fox, but he's actually got a fruitful future ahead of him, if you wanna take a look.

So, what do you think of my Balto, hm? Like I said, he's RP-ready if you ever want to do one with me.
