I was asked by a friend on how to do this.Since, I'm horrible at explainning things i decided to just make a tutorial to make this so much easier.
I hope this helps everyone who uses it.

Guys since this was the OLD deviantart I will tell you how t have a Deviant art ID
1. Go to your page and scroll down until you find the box 'DeviantArt ID' Or just Something 'ID'
2. At the top right cornor of the widget there is a pencil.. Press it
3. when you press the pencil, Press edit widget
4. If you want a description there then find a button which says 'bio' when you press edit widget
5. If you did your bio or you don't want to and you don't like the picture in the ID then press a button which says something about changing the picture because I forgot what it said XD.

Something so simple yet they made it complicated :s

For the confused ones, dA has changed the way things are, so to upload an ID just submit a deviation to the category "Deviant ID" and install the "Deviant ID" box in your profile, and from that box choose an ID from the list that pop up.
This list will only have deviations of yours that were submitted into the "Deviant ID" category.

I don't see any of that anymore. All I see is "edit page" which takes me to wanting to edit a bunch of widgets. Care to fill me in where I am looking wrong?

This is because adding a DA ID is done on your main page now I believe. I'm not sure though.
Have you looked through all of the menus under your settings? It may be there some place.
I'll try and find out for you though.
You may (I'm not sure) need to go onto your main page ~wolfgirl46 and click on the "Edit Page" button right above your journal. Look through there and add the DeviantID Module.
If you can't find it I'll try to make a tutorial when I can.
