Description
I couldn't shoot this one in macro, cause it was way to far away. It didn't really stoped but went straight on. But I think it turned out ok..Like my other butterfly pics, shot in macro beter.

This is just beautiful. I do love how you shot it, the way the wings take up so much of the image. It forms a nice V shape, leading you to the flower and making the composition feel as if it's off to one side. So bright and beautiful and full of life.

Yes, I LOVE them...have them everywhere in my room...even have a tattoo of one. And I love dragon flies too! Beautiful delicate creatures! Where in Holland do you live? That just happens to be my favorite country in the world...been to Hilversum, Soesteberg, Rotterdam, Miduiredam (spelt that wrong)...Amsterdam, Bosom & many other cities. It is by far the most beautiful country I've ever been in...with the most friendly people!

Yes, I had family that lived in Hilversum for almost 5 years & in Soesteberg for 12, since my Aunt works for the US Dept of Defense. I LOVE Amsterdam, the canals, the cheese, the FRITES! I will be there again in February on holiday with some friends & a friend from London.

Such a beautiful insect and a gorgeous setting, under the tall green grass where the sun brightens the carpet of soil below. This particular shot, though of a symbolic animal, doesn't seem to capture the idea of transfromation though, as the feature descrioption suggested. Nonetheless, it's a wonderful, summery, relaxing photo.

Your dragonfly photos are by far my favourite in your gallery - I myself wouldn't come within ten feet of any insect - they're pretty to look at but I don't like to get too close - don't mind butterflies and really big moths though - you should go stroke an atlas moth if you ever see one around it's brilliant fun until they fly away hehe
