Reposting old pieces from my pixel-site. This one was made in 2009 as the example doll in my "Totally Talented You" contest. The objective was to create the very best doll you were capable of; there was no unifying theme except that I asked participants to spend at least a week working on their entries (I spent more than two on mine- I thought I was never going to finish it!). The entries were really awesome and I think it was a good contest to wrap up my last months running Sabraelle's Garden- a happy memory. As for this doll, it is (at the time of posting it here) the best pixeled piece I've completed; I love everything about it (but especially the fish). The downside is that I haven't been able to finish a piece since; nothing I draw seems to be on par with this one and it's beyond frustrating... Ironic, no?
