I started this piece a couple months ago (having been thoroughly soaking myself in Jane Austen/Regency novels and films) but quickly lost interest in it and moved on.However, getting a DD kicked my butt back into gear to finish this- so I'm dedicating it to ~Siate and ^mintyy who respectively nominated and chose me. Thank you both for the much needed motivation!

It's been quite a while since I've really immersed myself in Paint and I kind of feel like I'm learning it all over again... So I decided that, if I have to re-learn anyway, I wanted to learn techniques that I love in other artists' works. And DA is the best thing ever in that regard- so many tutorials and inspirational artists right at hand! It really helped with the composition on this one!
