Reposting old pieces from my pixel-site. This one was made in 2006 for Jessica . She won first place in my Berry Fairy contest and requested a fairy with blue eyes and black hair- the rest of the details I was free to choose myself and this was the result. I was so proud of those wings- I redrew them about five times!

I used to have the hardest time drawing butterfly/fairy wings but I found a small book (Painted Ladies: Butterflies of North America) that details how to draw them step by step. It's an awesome resource!

I don't pixel much anymore, it's so time-consuming and I seem to have lost my patience for it. XD But occasionally I miss it and I'll do a doll or two...and I think I'm reaching that point again, haha!
