Amazingly, when I show people my current work, they seem to like this critter the best. One person even remarked that it looked plant-like, which it is supposed to be. But I think it looks like a giant booger.Anyhow, the Instance. No real reason for the name, it just popped to mind. I have to stop doing that. Somewhat inspired by Gravemind from Halo, but nowhere near as big, smart, and generally nifty. I think Instance ended up being a closer relative to Audrey II. (If you haven't seen "Little Shop of Horrors", go see it.)

Ooh, really cool. It is sort of booger-like, but with all those little tendril-hairs coming off of it, it also kinda looks like a hydra... or a tuber... anyway, it's cool.
