As promised to darkruler, here's part one for my Batman cast.

Batman: Steve has been ideal for me for a while, mostly because I could actually see his split-persona actually working. Use the Vincent voice for Batman, use the Spike Spiegel (Cowboy Bebop) voice for Bruce Wayne. Y'know what I mean?

Alfred: Like with Batman, Tom Kane immediately came to mind for Alfred. I doubt I have to explain why.

Lucius: A lot of people associate Keith David with a villain (as do I), but I do remember him from a particular show where he actually does show a kind of wisdom and cleverness.

Harvey: I'm not too sure where this came from. Harvey Bullock just looked like a John DiMaggio character, though whether he should sound like Bender is debatable.

Jim Gordon: After listening to Ed's performances in Fullmetal Alchemist and Baccano, I looked at Gordon's portrayals in the comics and had to put him in because of the age factor. Let's face it, the Gordon in the Nolan movies looks a good bit younger. Performance-wise, Ed does have age and can weave between seriousness and pleasant very well.

Nightwing: For Nightwing, I want someone who would be considerably younger than Batman, but still be adult-sounding. Yuri Lowenthal hit that nail right on the head to me.

Batgirl: So many actresses to choose from, but for the sake of being original, I had to go with O'Shaughnessey. And those who don't think the Wasp voice will work, you can always listen to her performances in Danny Phantom or Digimon.

Robin: Note that this is Tim Drake, the third person to take up the mantle of Robin. He is supposed to be much younger than Nightwing, so I had to get someone who sounded younger. Final Fantasy XIII haters, please shut up ahead of time.
