Depends on the power source used for the mechanical parts, actually. As well as other things like insulation and any nerve damage caused by the augmetics.
She could easily end up with the opposite problem.

The design of the left leg confuses me. That component's purpose seems to be to keep the leg stump attached to what's left of the lower leg, which seems like a misuse of resources.

The bone probably isn't intact, given that the knee has clearly been replaced by a large, obstructive metal bearing.
However, it seems to me that Rarity is absolutely the type to hang on to as much of her original flesh and fur as equinely possible.

It might be that the fur, skin, and muscle was too damaged to grow back naturally but the bone was still intact. That is my best idea.
