Up until that ending I thought it was a comic of Thanos having an effect on all universes, and those universes couldn't know what was happening or do anything against it since it's not coming from their universe, just dealing with the emotional turmoil, at least until the next Avengers movie.  Kinda surprise I haven't seen much of those.
