What about Upper Silesia and Masuria? There was Polish majority in these regions. Can you makΔ™ an updated map?

If this was set after WW1 then it really seems plausible, the countries involved were still recovering from gaining their independence with Poland having to deal with regions that had used 3 different currencies, 3 different legal systems(Prussian, Russian and Austro-Hungarian) imagine the headache caused by changing all that.

Possibly they might have introduced a common market to help their economies grow and then a mutual defence pact i.e. "for god's sake let's stick together in case the Russians or the Germans decide to eat us alive!"

Not entirely sure about the Poles wanting a monarchy, even one of the Hapsburg royal family residing in Poland kept away from politics and took ordinary Polish citizenship, can't really see Pilsudski backing a King either.

The borders in the Lithuanian part make very little sense. Having Vilnius as a separate city isn't logical, Alytus (not Altius) wasn't large enough to be a district centre, the eastern border of Alytus region follows the modern boundary of Lithuania, which was only established after WW2, and the western boundary of that region approximately follows the armistice line between Poland and Lithuania, which should not exist in this timeline, if you want any kind of peaceful union between Lithuania and Poland. Having subdivisions follow the Russian Empire's administrative divisions would make much more sense.

But the idea itself is interesting, and not completely far-fetched. There were factions in the nascent Lithuanian state that wanted to re-establish the Commonwealth, and they could have well succeeded.

I suppose a better PoD for this scenario should be Pilsudski not contracting cancer and living to see the Munich Agreement.
Upon condemning it, Pilsudski promises to fight alongside Czechoslovakia with the condition of getting the entire western portion of Teschen. The czechs eventually rise up against the germans, aided by te poles, and manage to achieve victory. Hitler suffers a coup and is killed, while a military junta takes control of Germany and offers a ceasefire to the polish-czechoslovak forces.
Poland is, then, seen as a strong neighbor by the lithuanians, enough to ward off the soviets. After suspicious socialist revolutions in Latvia and Estonia, Lithuania enters an alliance with Poland, which eventually solidifies into an anti-soviet political union.
what do you think of this?

I doubt anything could have made Lithuania agree to an alliance with Poland after the Polish takeover of Vilnius. Except, of course, the return of Vilnius and all other lands claimed by Lithuania.
