Description
This is a pic I made of another Of my Marvel Superheroes. This is Lion's Mane, a merging of the human girl Tina Marrin, and an Alien Symbiote, and is a being in the lines of Venom and Carnage.
Lion's Mane is the spawn of Scream, "daughter" of Venom. While on the hunt for other symbiotes left on Earth from a symbiote invasion, Scream was on a search through Southern Ontario, but had to stop in Toronto when she became "Pregnant", her Symbiote ready to spawn an offspring of its own. Her "pregnancy" was detected by her "brother" ("brothers"?) Hybrid, a being composed of the remains of the 4 other spawns of Venom bonded to a single human. The 4 Symbiotes were nearly killed when Scream was still insane, but Hyrid has moved on and is here to help his "sister". However, also detecting that she is ready to spawn, thier "Father" Venom, made his way to Toronto to confront Scream. No longer attatched to Eddie Brock, the first man to call himself Venom, the Symbiote is not attatched to Mac Gargan, the former supervillan the Scorpion, and is now stronger then Eddie Brock ever was thanks to Mac Gargan's enhanced powers augmented by the Symbiote's. Venom onced tried to recruit his first "Grandchild", Toxin, spawn of his rival Carnage, but Toxin turned on both, and became a Hero himself. Venom is not willing to make that mistake twice, and is determined to defeat this new Symbiote before it can grow stronger then himself.
Venom confronted Scream, attempting to kill her while she was still vulnerable due to her being ready to spawn the Symbiote offspring. Hybrid tried to defend her, but was over powered by the new stronger Venom. Eventually the new Heroes Phantasy, Bleak and Liz Benu tried to interfere and help protect Scream, but they too where overpowered by Venom.
But the distraction was enough, and eventually Sceam was able to spawn her offspring. So Venom tried to kill the newborn before it could bond with a host, but it found a host in Tina Marrin, a teenage girl friends with Liz Benu. Venom tried to strike host and symbiote down, but Scream, Hybrid, Bleak and Phantasy put themselves inbetween him and her. Venom fought tenaciously, and managed to knock away all 4 heroes. With only Liz left to protect her friend, Venom grabbed Liz by the throat and began to choke her. About to die at the hands of the Super Villan, Liz's powers finally manifested to full strength, and she turned into the New Heroe, the Blue Phoenix, and blasted Venom with waves of fire. The Symbiote had also speant enough time with its new host, and thus Lion's Mane emmerged, ready to take on Venom as well. Outnumbered and outpowered, Venom say no other choice but to retreat.
And it is with that fight that 4 new Super Heroes, Phantasy, Bleak, Blue Phoenix and Lion's Mane came together, and joined a team, later to be joined by 2 other Heroes.
Lion's Mane, as the spawn of Scream, has many powers assotiated with Venom and the other Symbiotes. Gaining powers aquiered from when the Venom Symbiote was bonded with Spider-man, Lion's Mane can climb walls, is super strong, agile and can shoot webbing from her hands. The Symbiote can change color and apperance, and thus change to appear as any kind of clothing, as well as letting Lion's Man camoflauge and blend into the background. Lastly, Lion's Mane can shift her hair (and technically other parts of her body as well) into grasping tendrils, ending them in bladed if she desiers. It is this power, which she gained from Scream, that she derived her name from. To further augment her appearnce, which she is modeling after a Lion, she developed a tail (which she can use like a 3rd arm) and a more lion like face, as well as long claws (though most Symbiotes have claws), all which come from the Symbiote. Tina is just getting used to her powers, but as a 3rd generation Symbiote born on Earth, it is possible that she, like Toxin, is more powerful then both Scream and Venom.
