This is a picture of a character from my Marvel/Power Rangers/TMNT fanfiction story world. This is another picture I made of my incarnation of Gwen Stacy from my Spider-Man, Super Warrior story. Working on her recent appearance in Spider-Verse where Gwen showed up as an alternate reality version of Spider-Woman, which became insanely popular (just check all over DA, she's all over the place), so I decided to adapt her Spider Powers into my version of Gwen. For that, check her out here. dinalfos5.deviantart.com/art/S…
For a brief overview, Gwen never died in my continuity, nor was she ever Peter's Girl Friend. In this continuity, Gwen's mother was the younger sister of May Reily, who married Ben Parker and became May Parker. Her mother died when Gwen young, and her father died when she was older during an attack by Doctor Octopus. She then moved in with her Aunt May and Uncle Ben, who didn't have Peter living with them, since in this continuity, Peter's mother never died, only his father. She's not technically Peter's cousin, but the see her as family and treats her as such.
Later in life, a villain known as the Jackal, trying to recreate the Spider-Powers that created Spider-Man a second time after Hydra Created their own group of Spider-Women, used Gwen as a test subject, imbuing her with her own set of Spider Powers very similar to Peter Parker's. Having already discovered that Peter was Spider-Man, she went to him to try and control her new powers after escaping from the Jackal. She created her costume and took up the alias of Spider-Woman, despite it being used by Jessica Drew (this is hardly the first time their have been two or more Spider-Women at a time), and joined Peter and his allies in the crusade against crime and danger.
I drew her here in four outfits, her main outfit, one with her mask down and hood up, a more revealing summer variation, and in her normal civilian clothes, updated without her glasses.
I made this picture from Dolls I found here www.angelfire.com/on3/lilyshan… by the artist Lilly and it is used with permission.

I never thought of having Gwen actually some form of relation to Peter. With your permission, I'd like to use this idea.
I, too, never liked the idea of a relationship with Gwen Stacy and Peter Parker. Maybe it's because I grew up with Peter and Mary Jane as my OTP (and still is). In my universe, Gwen does have a relationship with A Spider-Man, but it's Miles Morales, not Peter Parker.
Also, my version of Spider-Gwen was also kidnapped and experimanted on by the Jackal, alongside other Spidey-related superheroes such as:
-Ben Reilly and Kaine Parker, a.k.a. the Scarlet Spiders, who are actually Peter Parker's TWIN COUSINS, rather than his clones.
-Cindy Moon, a.k.a. Silk, who is portrayed more positively and not as weird as her current comic counterpart.
-Anya Corazon, a.k.a. Spider-Girl, who introduced as the college roomate of Gwen Stacy, Cindy Moon and Sophia "Chat" Sandoval before she became a superhero. Her backstory is similar to her 616 incarnation, only without that whole "Spider cult" thing.
-Miles Morales, a.k.a. the Ultimate Spider-Man, who is reimagined as an aged-up college student who's been best friends with Peter Parker since high school. He's also similar to Cisco Ramon on The Flash, given that he has given Spider-Man's rogue gallery codenames and that he's a genius engineer. As a I mentioned earlier, he's also in a relationship with Gwen Stacy, which is kinda like the relationship Ron and Hermione had in the Harry Potter series.

Thanks, glad you like the idea. Yeah, if you want to use some way of having Gwen and Peter be related, you can use that too. I more worked mine so that she's related to May and Ben, but this kind of makes Gwen and Peter 'a cousin of a cousin' type deal. If May and Ben had kids, Gwen and Peter would each be their cousins.
Exactly what kind of relationship with Peter would you have in mind? The same kind I had, or closer, like a cousin, perhaps with her mother being Ben and Richard's sister, or maybe Mary's (Peter's mom) sister?
You know, thinking it over, I don't know why I didn't think about this idea earlier, but perhaps I could alter my own story so that Gwen's mother wasn't May's sister, but Ben and Richard's. She'd still be Ben and May's niece, but this also makes her Peter, Kitty and Bobby's direct first cousin, instead of the whole cousins of a cousin thing. Of course, if Gwen's mother is out of the picture, that means Ben has to deal with the loss of both his sister and his brother, which is even harsher.
But yeah, I kind of like the idea of Miles dating Gwen, it's kind of cute. I know he was dating his version of Kate Bishop in the comics, but her father turned out to be a HYDRA agent who kidnapped Miles. They never really resolved that before the whole Secret Wars thing began with 616 and 1610 Incurring on each other. Miles and Kate would never work in my world, because my version of Kate has a long history that's very separated from Spider-Man and New York. She has a lot of history with Power Rangers under her father's name of Turner as both the 2nd Pink Dino Ranger and then the Pink Light Speed Ranger, then trained with Clint Barton and Bobbi Morse, took the name Hawkeye and became a founding member of my version of the Avengers.
I too am more of a Mary Jane and Peter shipper, so much so that I made her part of my original "Spider-Friends' line up as Firestar, as well as sharing a hybrid clone named May Watson, who is my version of Scarlet Spider, mixed with a bit of the Ultimate Spider-Woman mixed in. As for Gwen, I originally had her daring Eddie Brock, who is also a hero in this, going off ideas from the ultimate comics, Spider-Man 3 and the Spectacular Spider-Man cartoon that Eddie liked Gwen, but then decided to introduce a young Anne Weying, who was Eddie's Ex-wife in the comics, as Eddie's love interest, and have things not end so bad with them this time. This leaves Gwen with no one obvious, but like you, I could use Miles.
I like your ideas of multiple Spider powered heroes comic from the Jackal. That is indeed where my versions of Spider-Gwen, Silk and the Miles Morales Spider-Man come from. I don't think I have plans for Ben Reilly or Kaine, since I have my own version of Scarlet Spider. You mention your Ben and Kaine are twin cousins. Do they actually go by the last names Parker and Reilly?
If they were brothers, I'd assume they'd have the same last names? also, how are they Peter's cousins? If they actually had the last names of Parker and Reilly, they could be Ben and May's kids, with each one taking on one of their parent's last names, and also be Peter's cousins.
As for Anya, I'm not sure what I am going to do with her, because I gave both her Spider-Girl costume, and her moniker of Arana to Rachel Carpenter, Julia Carpenter's, aka Arachne, daughter. She got Spider powers from HYDRA the same time her mother did. I could still use Anya in this iteration, but she'd need a new alias and costume, thought I guess she could inherit Arana from Rachel.
Hmm, I remember Sophia "Chat" Sandoval from the Marvel Adventures comics, where she was Emma Frost's friend and found out Spidery's secret through Emma's telepathy. She could talk to animals and wanted to hang out with Peter. Was there ever a 616 version?
But yeah, I like your idea of having Miles being one of Peter's best friends, as well as being an engineer and code-name giver.
I plan on introducing Miles in a similar way, being one of the people the Jackal gives Spider powers to, the others being Gwen and Cindy. Like how Gwen and Jessica Drew just share the Spider-Woman title, Miles shares the name Spider-Man.

Wow, that was lengthy!
I've decided to go with the idea that Gwen Stacy's mother Helen is Ben and Richard Parker's sister.
Ben Reilly took his mother's last name because he's a mama's boy. And he and Kaine Parker are Uncle Ben and Aunt May's sons.
Yes, there was a 616 version of Chat. Look up Marvel Wiki.

Yes, sorry, I you had a lot of topics, so I had a lot to respond with.
Hmm, yeah, I figured that was the best option, and I think that works.
So does Peter still live with your version of Aunt May and Uncle Ben then? Thus making his cousins kind of like his brothers as well?
It might not be clear, but in the story I wrote, Peter's parents didn't die when he was young, and lived to have 2 more kids, a sister named Kathrine (nicked named Kitty, based partially on Kitty Pryde, but using the Black Cat alias) and a brother named Robert, (nicknamed Bobby and at least named after Bobby Drake because of the Spider-Man and his amazing friends. I am not certain if I'm going to have him develop an ice mutation or not, I've been on the fence about it for quite a while). Richard dies soon after Peter gains his powers, but Mary, as well as both Ben and May, are alive and well for the foreseeable future in my continuity.
I like your idea then of Helen being Richard and Ben's sister before marrying George Stacy. I might actually change things a bit, making it the same for my story, rather than have her be May Reilly's sister. This way, she's still May's niece, but that makes her Peter's true first cousin, and not just cousin by proxy by living with May and Ben.
Hmm, I see. I looked her up, and she's Anya's roommate in 616. I think I remember something about 616 chat with a loose connection to the spider family, but I couldn't remember exactly what. I think if I ever work Anya into my story, I'll work Chat in too, but I might keep her powers from the Marvel Adventures world.

She looks great! I like the idea of making Gwen somewhat related to Peter in your continuity.

Thank you, glad you like it then. Yeah, beyond the Spider-verse version, she's also based on the Ultimate Gwen Stacy. In those comics, Gwen was more like a sister to Peter, as she moved in with Peter after her father's death, and was kind of adopted by Aunt May in those comics, still living with her even after Peter's Death in the Ultimate comics, going so far as to call her 'my aunt' at one point, probably adopting what Peter would call her. I thought in the neo series, it would be interesting to actually connect them by blood. When Spider-Gwen became so popular, I decided I had to adapt my Gwen into a Spider-Woman as well. Anyway, thanks for the Fave too.

I definitely think that it was a good idea to bring in Spider-Woman Gwen

Well good to hear then. Poor May if she ever knew the truth, both her nieces, her nephew and a half-niece (Scarlet Spider, also named May, is a hybrid clone of Peter an Mary Jane) are all super heroes, 3 of them spider powered.

It would definitely be a big shock at first. It is possible that she might end up being very proud of them all though.

Yeah, that's generally how May feels after discovering the truth about these kind of things. She may be shocked at first, but she's generally very supportive in the long run.
