This thing really shouldn't have taken as long as it did to complete, but after about 3-4 months, it's finally done.

So this is another little story idea for something I've been working on. They are a group of explorers who have been wandering around the desert searching for a better place to live, somewhere where their people can build a city. After a few weeks or so, they find this place - a nice little valley with a river running through it.

I tried to make this a bit more detailed than some of my other pictures, and I also experimented with using contrasting colors for the shading. It didn't turn out quite as good as I had hoped it would, but at least I actually got this one finished.
