more flash concepts~ gatta put a portfolio together by next friday! ffffffffffff!!!thinking of doing some creatures next, maybe even some chocobos? we'll see...
these concepts were pretty rushed (if you couldn't tell) but hopefully when i learn flash i can clean them up when they go vector. i think with time and experience i will find the balance between simplicity and detail.

they're nice and shiny, but I won't lie bro, that evil tree looks a lil' sloppy, and the bats are alright but could be more caricature-like I suppose.

From what I can tell, most the flash artists use a ton go gradient mapping for most the detail.
As always, your work is great and I like to see you trying new things. I was stuck on line art when my wife made me move and it was the best decision i ever made. Expanding your range of artistic style just plain make you a better artist.
I think a great example for what you might want to go for is the opening animation on Kung Fu Panda. That was some of the best vector art I have ever seen.
