Here's a top down view of my C-119J that I wish I had throughout the build of this plane. Trying to find any kind of top down view or schematic for this plane was an still is one of the biggest obstacles with this plane that I had to overcome. Any reference including the flight manual for this plane has no top down view of this version of the c-119. Actually, any reference for this version of the C-119 has been difficult to find period. The critical area of the top view of the plane and the cargo door/wing root areas were tough to almost non-existent for me to find. I wound up taking a best guess at this area. After I had completed the area and had gotten the color coats of paint on the plane, THEN some good shots of the plane showed up on the internet of a C-119J at the USAF Museum in Dayton, OH. Still to this day though, there are no top down views of this plane. With this photo I hope to correct this deficiency.
