One of these was doing touch and go's along side me just yesterday. Funny thing was we were taking off and landing in opposite directions on the same runway. I wish I could have got some pictures of it, but I was kinda busy trying not to have a head on mid air collision.

best to give those "heavies" a wide berth! lots of jet/prop wash and wake turbulence! a classmate of mine from high school was killed that way.....

jetwash and wake turbulence from a 757,which generates enough to be referred to as a "heavy" by ATC...their Cessna Citation was too close behind.......

it was some time ago....i don,t recall the aircraft,s registration offhand. it fell and crashed right on top of a gasline,which was breached and ignited,thus totally incinerating the Citation and all 8 occupants. it,s in the NTSB,s accident files.

Oh yeah, I just love the red, white and blue color scheme of the USCG's HC-130s. I kinda fell in love with the color scheme after I got a 1/130 model of the USCG HC-130.
