Description I was playing around with a lump of oil clay the other weekend, molding it into all kinds of weird and wondrous creatures, when I came up with the brilliant concept for a new kaiju OC. This new kaiju, named Kaibutsu (which the Japanese word for "monstrosity"), will have multiple forms and will evolve rapidly throughout its story-line, thanks to the effects of nuclear fallout. Kaibutsu is also inspired by and will involve some elements of Shin Godzilla, Hedorah, Destroyah, and Orga.

Kaibutsu (Toad Form)

Length: 35-45 meters
Height: 17.5-22.5 meters (at the top of the highest neural spine)
Weight: 194 tonnes
Enemies: Godzilla, Oodako, Ebirah, and the O.A.K.D.A.
Allies: None
Faction: Mutant

Story

After ceasing all movement in the middle of Hong Kong, the reddish brown "blob" had deceived every civilian, soldier, and military leader into thinking that it was dead. But what they didn't realize was that this kaiju anomaly was in the process of evolving further, for after about a half hour or so, the grotesque, amorphous creature began to move once again, but this time, it began to bunch up and then expand greatly.
Its tentacles retracted into its body, and the blob starts to change into a more solid form. All people can do is look on in sheer confusion and shock as begins to sprout a coat of skin over its body and gains bones as well. A tall row of neural spines rises from its back, and a skull with an enormous pair of eyes and huge mouth greets those who standing directly in front of it. After, a few minutes, the civilians of Hong Kong are faced with a gigantic, bizarre toad-like animal. The clusters of microbes that have fabricated the "blobs" had evolved to adapt to a semiaquatic life, and therefore have produced a vertebrate in the process.
The "toad", following its "birth", resumes its rampage across the arrogant Asian metropolis, consuming a few dozen more people and causing the collapse of a few more structures before being forced to retreat to the sea, as its newfound skin was beginning to become parched. In the event of the toad kaiju's assault, soldiers were unprepared for this unexpected turn of events, and therefore, inflicted little damage to the creature. Even though only 17% of the city was demolished, the failure to kill the creature infuriates Chongkun Lie Kuang, the governor of China. Japanese governor Shinobu Takahashi and his forces vow to cease this anomaly's reign of terror if it ever comes close to Japanese shores. Following the vow, the Japanese forces of OAKDA begin preparations to defend against the "toad" kaiju.
Meanwhile, in the northern Pacific, near a small Alaskan island, a Russian nuclear submarine (the S.S. Olga) is scanning the vicinity for any possible kaiju anomalies, particularly the one dubbed "Manda", based on supposed sightings of a gigantic, serpentine aquatic animal observed in these parts. Crew members of the submarine suddenly catch sight of a huge eel-like caudal fin through the periscope. Upon orders, the submarine is steered in the direction of the fluked tail, but without warning, the creature inadvertently leads to an iceberg containing a colossal dark reptile with large neural spines.
Suddenly, the nuclear submarine collides with the iceberg, killing all members inside and erupting fissures in the ice. Godzilla's limp, seemingly lifeless body emerges from the damaged iceberg and sinks the seafloor. The King of Monsters awakens and surfaces a day later, and let's out a mighty roar to let all know that he has returned. After doing so, he begins a lengthy swim back to Japan to exact his vengeance on mankind....
En route to the nearest piece of available land (Japan in this case), the "toad" kaiju grapples with a colossal octopus, "Oodako", near the Marianas Trench. It succeeds in tearing off two of the octopus's tentacles, forcing Oodako to retreat. While feasting on the torn tentacles, the "toad" kaiju is ambushed by the gigantic lobster Ebirah, who grabs a hold of one of the toad's hind limbs with its remaining claw. Ebirah is successful in severing the limb of the toad and returns to his lair in the rocky abyss. The "toad" kaiju escapes from the scene and resumes its swim, and regenerates the lost limb later on.
While studying samples of the same microorganisms that created the "blob" and the "toad", Dr. Ayame Sasaki and her colleagues confirm that their genetic composition was mutated by nuclear fallout, and that "an evolution that would originally take millions of years to complete has been accelerated." Takahashi and Sasaki report this discovery to both the government and the scientific community, and in doing so, the Japanese section of OAKDA codenames the new kaiju anomaly "Kaibutsu", meaning "monstrosity" in Japanese.
Three days later, Kaibutsu makes landfall in Kagoshima, barging straight through the city like a battering ram, killing many civilians and destroying some the Japanese plasma tanks and destroyer helicopters in the process. To make matters even worse, two hours following Kaibutsu's first assault on Japan, Godzilla resurfaces on the shores of the city of Niigata, where the defense forces of the OAKDA prove to have little effect on the almighty kaiju. Godzilla nearly annihilates the forces stationed at Niigata and reduces a great percentage of the city to nothing more than scattered heaps of rubble before moving further inland. Despite this devastating loss for Japan, Takahashi devises and proposes a clever plot: They must lure both Godzilla and Kaibutsu to a deep inland area of Japan away from civilization, have both kaiju fight and have Godzilla be the victor, and then, send in MechaGodzilla to finish off the King of Monsters.
The rest of the OAKDA members approve of this plan, and in return for the services China and Japan have provided for them, the Russians offer the Japanese three nuclear warheads with which to lure Godzilla, since they have discovered that he utilizes radiation as a part-time food source. A squadron of helicopters is ordered to carry the trio of warheads to attract Godzilla to the Azumino Alps National Park, the chosen location. The Monster King, intoxicated by the scent of radiation, decides to temporarily cease his reign of terror and follow the helicopters. Meanwhile, the Japanese defense forces in the southern region of the proud nation are driving the toad-like form of Kaibutsu further and further inland to the exact same location.
Two days later, the three nuclear warheads are set down in Azumino Alps National Park, where Godzilla arrives shortly afterward to feast upon the succulent radiation. A few moments later, Kaibutsu finally arrives in the national park as well, and stares eye-to-eye with the King of Monsters. The battle that the OAKDA has planned out then takes place.
Kaibutsu is the first one out of the two giant monsters to attack, charging Godzilla and nipping him on the ankle. Slightly annoyed, Godzilla kicks the toad-like beast in the face. Hurt, not but defeated, Kaibutsu begins to charge and leap at the Monster King once more, this time being able to slash him a few time across his midsection. Kaibutsu pounced at Godzilla again, only to be knocked to the ground by a punch from the much larger kaiju.
Kaibutsu, still determined, continues to charge and slash at Godzilla, only to be beaten senseless. Godzilla, now annoyed by these repeated attacks, now begins to bite and throw his adversary around like a rag doll. The King of Monsters attempts to utilize his atomic breath on his opponent, but Kaibutsu dodges the attack and charges Godzilla once again, only to be swatted into a nearby mountain by a powerful swipe of the reptile's long tail. With a single blast of his atomic breath, Godzilla provokes an avalanche of stone that buries the toad-like kaiju alive, presumably killing it.
At this supposed victory, Takahashi gives the orders for their new superweapon, Kiryu, to be dispatched to defeat Godzilla once and for all, but then, the accumulation of stone that buries Kaibutsu began to shift. Godzilla and the humans alike stared down at this with a bewildered look. Suddenly, a tail emerged from the pile and began to take shape. At the other end, the head of Kaibutsu reformed and sprouted two pairs of horns. His front limbs grew much shorter, and his hind limbs grew much longer. Finally, a new image of Godzilla's adversary pushed itself up off of the ground, shook off the dust and gravel from its body, and let out an eerie snarl as a challenge to Godzilla. "Dinosaur Kaibutsu" was born.....

I guess: after the dino form, there will be a winged form! But probably I'm not right.
