Description
White-Skinned Dragoneaters.*Dromus. Giant scorpions that live high in the mountaintops. These elephant-sized arachnids are extremely resiliant to extreme temperatures, able to survive both the chill of their icy domain and the scorching heat of their prey's breath. They snatch flying dragons out of the sky with their crushing pedipalps and kill them by driving their gigantic, venomless sting through their skulls.
*Shredarr. A ferocious mammalian carnivore similar to the Wolverine, but as large as a Grizzly Bear. They posses no special immunities or regenerative powers- they are simply so hellishly single-minded that they always come out on top. They gnaw scale and rend flesh until their very last breath.
*Bleech. Man-sized, terrestrial leeches that can live for a millenia by feeding on dragon blood. They attach themselves to the belly or wings of their victim, constantly chewing the flesh and sucking blood. In large numbers, they can weaken a dragon so severely that it will plummet from the sky meet it's death at the ground below. Once their host is dead (they digest the blood and produce excrement so quickly that they have no need to ever let go), they suck it's veins completely dry and slither on to find new prey.
*Cloudcuttler. An airborne cephalopod the size of a blimp. These squid-like carnivores drift through the sky via undulating fins and internal gas chambers. They constantly change the color of their skin to blend in with the sky and clouds- invisible to the unobservant passer-by. When dragons fly past them, they extend their harpoon-like tentacles and reel them to their beaked, venomous doom.
*Terrorpin. Pale-skinned turtles with white shells and an apetite for draconic flesh. Amphibious, well-armored, and fireproof. Being rather slow, they only very rarely catch dragons of the flying variety.
*Barnikkul. Primitive invertebrates that feed on dragons and other flying animals. When prey flies overhead, they reach up with long, grasping tentacles. The center tendril delivers a poisonous sting that kills prey quickly and minimalizes struggle as the victim is dragged into the gullet for digestion.
*Shicaca. Nightmarish bats that hunt dragons in cooperative packs. They overwhelm their larger, more powerful prey by hammering them with high-frequency soundwaves. Ironically, they are sometimes hunted down by humans so that the spines on their backs can be harvested and used to forge weapons for dragonslayers.
*Great Wurm. A type of behemoth, serpentine monster that lives underground. Though they very rarely appear on the surface, they can devour an amazing number of creatures during their "visits" and have no qualms with swallowing apex predators whole. These mountainous carnivores are attributed for the extinction of at least seventeen species of dragon.
*Tiger Phoenix. A Western relative of the "traditional" Phoenix, this elegant bird is known for it's luminous white feathers and territorial disputes with small dragons, especially wyverns. Covered in fireproof feathers, it is immune to the scorch of dragon's breath. When they near the "end" of their life cycle, Tiger Phoenixes shed their fireproof feathers for a layer of fuzzy, flammable down. Also, while the Asian Phoenix builds it's nest out of cinnamon twigs, the Western Phoenix builds it's out of wyvern bones.
*Leviathan. Oceanic crocodilians with six fins and a taste for sea serpent. When they hatch, they are dark blue and 'only' seven feet long. Growing to be over sixty feet from snout to tail, they slowly fade white as they become so large and powerful that they no longer need camouflage in the open sea. Sailors fear these beasts as much as dragons do; their spined, paddle-like tails often strike the hulls of large ships and send them to watery graves.

Various planets and alternate Earths, I don't think I intended for any of them to coexist with each other.

I VERY much like the Dromus.
Though what i like better is your creature designs and descruptions. You are VERY in-depth, and remind me somehow of myself. It makes me want to do something like this. (Three years ago i counted the number of creatures I had already created, and i came up with 789. I lost count a few months ago.)

Hmm. For some reason the squid is my favorite. He just looks neat to me for some reason. The wolverine and crocodile dragoneaters also stand out, although (as always) they're all good designs.
