This one was a no-brainer: lots of people have asked for a playable killer plant, especially Vegon or one of his offspring. I was probably going to call mine Vegon II as a Little Shop reference.In hindsight I realize the jump style I came up with wouldn't really work- he wouldn't be able to jump over or dive-bomb other monsters.

This reminds me highly of Snare, an elemental Warrior from Kameo: Elements of Power. This brings me to make a suggestion of a mutant multi-tailed Kobra sticking out of a snake basket for a skin!

Ooooh that would be a fun skin, haha. I did eventually decide that burrowing would work best for this character instead of jumping, though, and a basket would look pretty strange going underground. Maybe it could be a more subtle reference and just be a snake monster?

I was thinking something like a mix of a Tremor worm and Slamworm from Ben 10 Omniverse. Still, there aren't many plant monsters other than Biollante and Venus from Rampage: Total Destruction. Plants can be beautfil yet dangerous; in WOTM their true potential can be unleashed.
I also wouldn't mind seeing a sort of "squid and eel" combi costume; a sort of mutant hybrid. P.S. I had an idea for a costume layout thingy:
* Normal
* Recololour
* Alternative redesign (e.g. mecha)
* New monster entirely
* Downright silly costume for lulz
* Possible downloadable content monsters?
Sounds a bit much, but we can't get enough monsters huh?

A no-brainer indeed, with all the people I've seen bandy it around. Still awesome, though. I was planning a Vegon head myself, only it was just the head and some root legs and I was going to name it Stacie. Of course, assuming I ever get back to WoTM2 myself.

Mecha-GREGOLE has a Vegon offspring too, and I remember the idea coming up a few times back when I went to Kaijuphile. I'm sure it's popped up other places too.

Instead of 'jumping' how about Burrowing? It makes him more unique among the other monsters and gives him more a unique weakness and adds more attack strategies and such.

in fact, make holes instead of jumping is a bad idea, if so, Vegon II could not climb high platforms

I did go with the burrowing approach for this guy, but he's still got the ability to climb. He just has to latch onto things at the base rather than leaping and grabbing on at the middle.

well, if you can climb and dig climbing platforms, then fine. One thing you do not mind myself to redesign the skin of cactus?
