Appropriately named Frank the Fishy by my friend Dan
I tried to paint over a stock photo of a fish.
To practice painting in Photoshop for photo-manipulations.

Your transformation is beautiful.
Why don't you try to actually paint it? Digital, paint, pencil, whatever.
You seem to have a good eye, I'd like to see a non-manip.

Well, I may try that in a later stage. I have to work with a mouse so it's a bit tricky to paint digitally. I do have some acrylic paint I could try it with, but I am not familiar with that material. Alternatively I could do colored pencil or pastels 
Perhaps I should just try all of those

It did take an awful lot of time, but seems that's worth the effort. I'll try to do this in manips. Perhaps a full still-life painted over as a next practice ^_^
