Description
EDIT: Final prices and sizes in place, its all ready now!Say hello to my li' frend!
So here it is, the 2005 space calendar...........available in...........September?
Well yes! why? Last year, i got a lot of comments/notes saying that they needed to save up to buy it. So i decided to release it early, so that they have plenty of time to get money together and get it while it's still sensible to get a 2005 calendar! After all, not everyone gets a calendar in February or March
This calendar took me roughly a week to finish, which surprised me, since i didnt think i could put together artwork so quickly and still be very satisfied with the end result.
I am seriously considering submitting my favorite months as wallpapers and even actual prints. May, September, and November are definetely in the cool list.
I compare this calendar to last year's, and i surprise myself how much i've learned. I think that any month of this calendar is better than any month from the 2004 calendar. But that's just me
As you may have noticed, i did some recycling, meaning that i used existing artwork of mine. Why? because i thought it would be cool to have it in the calendar. Which months used recycling? February and November, most clearly (although with a few modifications)
My most favorite months? November and May
My least favorite months? April and July. Actually, July looks much better at full view. And i mean the REAL full view, not the deviantART's full view
Thank you for looking and dont forget to leae a thought or 2

Nice work! As graphic designer/fine artist as well, this is very eye catching and intense. You've done a nice job with this space theme and making it clean and easy to read and view. Someone mentioned stars in the background...you are right in keeping it plain, less is best. it would distract from the callender dates etc. You need that negative space to draw the attention to the images!

Why don't you add a background with some twikles off stars? Nothing special, of course, just a 10%gaussian noise and levels (0,0.40,160)

because it is veeeeeeeery distracting for the dates. I would have to make them almost invisible for them to not interfere, so might as well not do them at all.

And how much is this baby going to run? I've always been in awe of your work, but you don't need another "great job" or "excellent work" added to the masses, so I generally admire from afar.... BUT, if I can afford it, I'd like to be admiring in my office.
