Hey everyone!I've been pretty absent here on DA. yeah i've posted a piece or 2 from my sketches at the CBR blog, but its not been the totality of my out-put.
This is the set of samples i prepped for NYCC. Yes, i'm calling them failures because even I can see all the mistakes this thing has. If i were a marvel or DC editor looking at these pages, i wouldn't have hired myself either.
I've no problems with this, really. i just have to dedicate more time to them and get the most bitchin' set of samples ready for next year.

Hulk vs. Thor!
Hmm... my money is on the Hulk, because the longer the fight goes, the more the advantage goes in Hulk's favor. After all, he is the Strongest One There Is!!!!
Besides, Hulk has trashed Thor in the past, even when the Thunder God gave the green goliath his best shots. In fact Hulk nearly killed Thor on one occasion, if you recall the Mindless/Banner-less Hulk. He would have killed Thor and all the other heroes if Dr. Strange didn't get involved and banished him.
Great work, and I hope you do a follow up with Hulk getting a hit on the Thunder God. Keep up the good work, dude!

thanks tons! honestly, while i drew it i was rooting for thor, but i also know that hulk is an unstoppable force, like in the hulk vs. thor movie.

I think these all look great. I know what the pros told you and I know they are ultimately failures but I think that this is a step in the right direction.

thanks for the kind words, man. i'm not resentful about the pages or about what the pros said though. I mean a couple of them said that in 2 or 3 years i might have a solid professional look, so there's looking forward to that, but i have to keep drawing.
