A1, watercolour, charcoal, pencil and pen.Da Hjaltadans is a ring of rocks in the island of Fetlar that are said to be trows who were dancing all night to devilish fiddler’s tunes. They got so carried away that they didn’t notice the sun rising up and it turned them into stones.
This artwork illustrates the lyrics in the song Hjaltadans by the Shetland folk metal band Trowsholm.
