Description A little something I did upon request. I made this little animation for myself last night and one of my friends wanted to know how I managed it.

Hopefully the instructions are clear enough to follow. I put alot of steps in to make sure it was fairly thorough. This means that the file size is fairly large. It'll probably take a minute to load even on high speed, so I'll make it available to download as well.

If you like it or find it usefull leave a comment and it.

Edit: In the tutorial I say its an mpg, I was thinking of a different file. This one is an .avi file.
Edit: Apparently I can't spell my own screen-name sometimes. This is why you don't make tutorials at 1am.
Edit: Changed the background color around the text.

Like the posted comments here. I've been wondering how did those nicely animated GIF are made.

And i thought it would mean capturing it from the video using ctrl+prtsc..XD sounds totally tough

not sure if you mean save from DA lol, if you mean the flash itself its been awhile since I used this technique.

I made an updated, non-flash tutorial at this link -> [link]

Sorry about being late with the reply too, haven't had much chance to check on DA lately.

Wooh! Thanks a lot!

Something went wrong with Flash and I couldn't import videos... So this works perfectly for my case! Thanks again!

Its a bit easier to follow and the tool used for getting the images is free (or at least it was free when I last looked)

I know that the tv card i have cost about $120 at the store. Macromedia and Photoshop are fairly pricy as well.

Glad you liked the tutorial though.
