So, I wanted to get a tattoo that tied me to Kaitlin, and of course, represented her somehow. I thought about the traditional name across the ass idea, but, as we all know that spells the end of any good relationship. So, I thought and thought about it because I wanted it to be symbolic, and unique, and meaningful, and at the same time very cool. After some time it struck me: her fingerprint. Shes the only one with it, and (God forbid) if anything happens, its not as obvious as her name, haha. So we took her fingerprint, I played with it in photoshop, and after several different variations and many days of thought, this is what I have come up with...It's supposed to look like a really big finger dabbed in ink was pressed onto me, this is to symbolize that she "touched" my life. And the size, other than for the fact that you cant do it too small (I'm thinking about 5x7 inches, on my shoulder) is supposed to symbolize that she has been a big part of my life.

That would become a very interesting Tattoo
I bet all people would look at your back and puzzle a bit about there (separate) reality.
Also cool idea for bound with your girl.. It is something very personal not as general like a name. And what is also important for a tattoo that it is artistic and have a nice looking design.

There are a lot of stupid ass tatoos out there, god knows most of them are on my friends. People get tatoos for stupid reasons, or for no reason at all. I think this is one of the most beautiful things you could come up with
