If you chose to flee, you now have a (potentially and probably) deadly creature right on your tail and it is not at all pleased to be thrust out of its home by the storm. How are you going to shake it off your trail, but also keep it away from your home/village/town where it could cause even more distress?
Izzy has never dealt with or seen the creatures of the forest like this, so she would 100% flee and make sure Thadeus was in front of her the whole time.
