These are in no particular order, though I did TRY to keep types together.

I tried to avoid the obvious picks for this one. Stuff like Chrono Trigger, Pokemon, Castlevania, Zelda... I still love them, they're definitely my top 10 but I stuck to some relatively-unknown ones here.

Silent Hill II: Love the story, love the characters, love the atmosphere, love the feeling of desolation and hopelessness. This was SH at it's peak.

Bioshock: This game does atmosphere remarkably well, and did manage a few jump scares out of me. Regrettably, the scare started to wear off when I realized there was little-to-no penalty to dying. Regardless, the story is orgasmic, the graphics rock, the characters are interesting and it kept me interested enough to play both endings.

Fatal Frame II: I love Fatal Frame as a general whole, but this one's my favourite. I loved the whole twin-sacrifice and the village, and the Twin Ghosts got me more times than I can count.

Parasite Eve II: The controls are obnoxious at best, and the whole I HAVE PARASITE POWERS IN MAH EYES thing tends to tone-down the horror... but I can't help but love this game. It's the first scary game I ever played, and there's so much nostalgia for me. I love Aya, heck... I even loved Eve in the first game. I do not, however, like Kyle getting in the way of my shooting.

Mass Effect 2: Strong story, fun gameplay, creative characters and just an all-around good time. My friend (who LOATHES Sci-Fi) adores the game, even.

Dragon Age: Origins: Yep, I'm a BioWare whore. Strong story, fun gameplay, creative characters and the ability to sleep with drag queens. Need I say more?

Fallout 3: Because I refuse to criticize a game in which you can experience a situation where you shoot a giant, mutated green creature brandishing a Fire Hydrant while yourself wielding an Alien Ray-gun and sporting an orange Zoot Suit.

I can't. I just can't.

Cave Story: I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE CAVE STORY THIS GAME IS FUCKING CRACK.

Ookami: The most fun you will ever have with your Wii.... ever. Except with Cave Story... or Umbrella Chronicles.

Paper Mario: TYD: Actually, I love all Mario RPGs. Original Paper Mario, Legend of the 7 Stars, Thousand Year Door, Super Paper Mario, Bean Bean Kingdom, Partners in Time.... All of them, this one is just my favourite.
