Description A little preview showing the "Classic GB" Filter from Mega Man Eternal II.  I am pretty sure it will be a secret in the game to unlock, but this is not final.  Note that the colours here are not finalized (I chose the tints of the GB palette a bit brighter so it is a bit easier to see, though I do have a contrast dial, I found myself tinkering with it to make it one shade brighter anyways).  You can go between a single windows mode and a full screen (both 800 x 720 pixels), and the shades of the pixels can be changed like usual in the game (Super GB style), along with the boundary colour (the one between the pixels of the "dot matrix").

Yes the tiles are in test room set in Super Mario Land's first stage.  The mini boss shown here is Cloudeity, the mini boss of Turbine Man's stage.

Have a beautiful day!

Mega Man Eternal II is a fan game by me, Mega Man is owned by Capcom.  Big Thanks to MegaRed225 for designing Cloudeity!

I would have commented on the lack on ghosting... but I think that's for the best >.> Anyway, there's an endless mode huh? I'd love to hear more about that actually.

Yes, that was the only thing that I did not include.  It is actually kind of funny, I whipped together this filter in less than a day which was pretty nice because I have been pretty sick the past 4 days.  I included a little scruff as if seeing it through a bit of a worn screen.  I managed to do this without needing to modify my current shader (why it allows still for the Super Gameboy functionality, just you do not get to see any borders in this mode), which is rad.

I'll give you a high-level breakdown of the Endless Mode (I'll go more into detail about it when I have a preview video ready as I don't want to spoil it entirely):

-is a combination of a homage to the GB's biggest hits with MM-ified segments, and a somewhat traditional Endless Mode type of setup (with gimmicks from the main levels).  You seen probably in one of my preview videos Birobuto Kingdom from Super Mario Land, and Kracko confirms that there is a Kirby's Dreamland segment as well.  When a game has a really different set up I'm finding a new way of twisting them that should wacky.

-Has online leaderboards.

-There is a gambling element to the Endless Mode in this game (it involves how you unlock Secrets in this game, Secrets are purchased with a "special" currency (don't want to spoil it yet) in this game that can be obtained through beating the game or the Endless Mode).  The selection of the segments is controlled by a roulette wheel for the classic GB segments, and the normal segments will be arbitrary (to be determined exactly how that is done, I know it won't be "purely" random).

I'll show more of it when the time comes around.  It should be very distinct compared to any Endless Mode out there right now.  It's a fun tribute to my love for the Gameboy.

What is Kracko doing here?

Ha ha, Cloudeity's attacks are inspired by Kracko's.  As a fun Easter Egg, I put Kracko in as a reskin of Cloudeity in the Endless Mode (for the Kirby's Dreamland segment), it is in the preview video.
