I like this shot a lot. I'm a big fan of minimalism and that sort of abandoned industrial look. You know what I mean, old factories, signs of civilization discarded. I realize this light is probably still in use, but nevertheless, it's a nice subject.
The lighting is dramatic, perspective is interesting, and the large section of blank wall plays well against the isolation of your subject in the upper corner. There is just enough texture to the wall to make it interesting, and the lines at the bottom edge balance against the weight of the main point of interest, creating a slightly biased equillibrium.

great use of shadows! and the fact thata there's no boundaris around th light make it feel as if it's a stop light at the ends of the world, has no end and no begiinngng it just stands there and reminds us when is time to stop and when to keep goiung... its a great shot!

The green gives a really eerie feeling to it.. but I love the lines at the bottom... done hurriedly, brashly, the shadows of the light.. how it almost seems like the shadow's in motion because of the blur..
The shadows are just awesome.. the colour of the traffic light, how gritty and dirty it looks..the wires, the cracks and lines on the wall... the gradient of colour..

it looks just pretty much similiar, isnt it a shot of traffic lights in Burnley Tunnel. by the way itself photo could possibly use some shadows, and you did it,

a very eerie,scary yet lost-found shot in my opinion... Scary in a way that the traffic lights doesn't work, and the long shadow cast on such old, yet dark wall. Like it has no life. But the bright light on the right shows like the next solution (if ur in a darky place, u would go towards the light yea?)...
or maybe i'm just talking crap

There's this compostion again. It is really effective, that must be said. I like the shadow and the stripesy bits down there. The colours is a bit er.. sickly, but it works I suppose. Just not a great lover of green personally. Funny how concrete can look sexy.
