Chained
Chained to my world,
Chained to my desires,
Chained to my love,
Chained to my failures,
Chained to my god,
Chained to my success,
Chained to my work,
Chained to my vices,
Chained to my sins,
Chained to my secrets,
Chained to my committments,
Chained to my aspirations,
Chained to my wealth,
Chained to my freedom,
Chained to my lust,
Chained to my hunger,
Chained to my vanity,
Chained to my pride,
Chained to my ego,
Chained to my ID,
Chained to my clothes,
Will it ever stop ....................

Absolutely gorgeous. The message this picture communicates (along with the beautiful collection of words in the discription) is breathtaking. Hah, I've hesitated to choose favourites around here, but no more!

evernotice how the skin pics (and this one is fantastic btw) generate the most comments?

Yep unfortunately ths is true, i think its because majority of deviants here are of the age group where skin shots appeal to them the most. I have seen excellent artists with very less comments on their work because they are not into this kind of art. Lol even my photographs (i started one month ago in photography) have returned zilch comments/views.
Ironic lol.

Yes.. Knowing my own tastes or rather weakness was what put me on to this observation. And then I noticed that throughout the site the photos with the most comments were nudes or glamour. It may be that the content is easy to get? I spent alot of time exploring photographic nudes and tried to grapple with what triggered the common reactions. I tried comparing nude drawings to nude photos trying to understand how one 2d representation was so much more powerful than the other (lets face it photos are 2d) at arrousing certain feelings or offending certain sensibilities. An then I stumbled upon manaquins... lit and shot in such a way they could trigger those same feelings.. that is until the viewer finally notices the seams and the odd label. Then they feel a little sick lol with themselves?

Actually, it's what is commonly called Japanese Rope Bondage. It was originally developed in Japan a few centuries back for use in restraining prisoners, as rope is cheap and plentiful compared to most of the alternatives. I doubt it took very long for them to adapt it to other uses. (I saw a documentary on it recently.)
The use of pink rope seems oddly cute to me.

thank you for the info. it is truly very nice to learn about that Jap Rope Bondage.
i had not a slight doubt u've got such remarkable gift being a true by heart artist
as you dont simply make useless stroke and movements and u know how to explain them.
you make good, interesting, intelligent concepts.keep it up.
pink rope was super cute. agreed.

Oh wow ... LOVELY ropework ! Such beautiful knots on such a beautiful model...
But the poetry adds something more to it ... (WHAT it adds is clear I hope)
So this is clearly a nice marriage between words and image ..... very well done (like a lot of your work)

Lovely shot I like the overall softness of the lighting and angle as well as the way the rope color almost blends with her skin-- keeps with the low contrast of the image very well - great work!

Incredible. Incredibly what I'm not sure. The picture is very sexy and seductive, while the poem is deep and meaningful. Whatever the deeper meaning behind all of this, I like it.

gorgeous image and fitting poem. i like the pink rope/ties, but it doesn't really look to me like they are heavily restraining her, as much as the poem suggests. it is a gorgeous image, but i think something heavier or bigger, weighing the model down, might have fitted better.

yep i agree, but the ropes in this shot compliments the model, more heavier thing wud have been overkill , dont u think

Also, did I mention the composition is interesting without being lopsided too far? The model looking hot doesn't hurt either. Yep, this one's a fave.

Now this is fantastic. Truly. The concept is relevant, & the pic expresses it nicely. True art instead of "eye candy" (most of the drawings you find in DA).
