your colors compliment gabriel's lines extremely well. will you have any further opportunities for coloring his work beyond agents of atlas?

Nice! I think the red cast on the lower 2/3 might be a little too strong, but it might just be personal taste. Your rendering fits the drawing/inking style perfectly though!

Thanks John Yeah, you're absolutely right. I wish I could go back and tone it down a bit. I noticed everything seems more saturated here on the large pic. than it is to the actual image in PS. I seem to have that problem with most of my pics on deviant art. Oh well~ So how have you been?! Are you hitting up any shows this year? I would love to meet you sometime!

i noticed that as well. DA's tendency to wash out smaller preview images actually helped here. the overall piece i think is improved by the desaturation

The thumbnail is a more accurate representation of the actual image.

Jeez, that's a beauty Elizabeth. Gabriel's lines are great on their own, but you really punched it up here. The subtle tones shifts in the clouds and flag are what really does it for me in this one.

The Canadians did a lot. Their troops at Normandy got the farthest up the beach, despite the heavy resistance they encountered which rivaled Omaha. The Germans in both world wars feared the Canadian troops the most.

We already won world war one! what more do you want? and actually, canada lost more men in WWII than the US did, look it up.
