I was going through a lot of pictures here on DA and found a lot of romantic pics of couples, both Disney and Non-Disney, where the couples are comparing their hand sizes. I even remember a reference of a pose like that when I was drawing anime/manga stuff in a 'How to draw manga' book. So I suppose it's a common thing among couples. I guess it's especially done with a large guy and little woman.*sigh* How I love gentle giants and Silver is definitely one. I've had an idea like this one in my head for a long time now and here it is.
Marina and Silver relax on deck after hard work or so and talk a little bit. Eventually, Silver takes a hold of Marina's hand romantically and she begins to compare the sizes between them. She is amazed at it and he smiles at her sweetness.

LOL. I know. I almost wanted to redraw that old one but then I thought. . . "Eh, too Tarzan-ish". So I just made it this way after spotting a bunch like this on DA. Like I said, I guess it's a common thing a lot of couples do when they sit and talk.

Hi. I'd just like to note the inconsistency with the hand size of Marina.

In this picture, Marina's hand seems to be a bit smaller than Silver.
But in this picture, Silver's hand is massive in comparison. It's important to always be consistent with the characters. You should refer to your character model sheet of Marina so you can get her measurements down with every picture--this includes Silver too if you can.

Lol I was just thinking of how his hands are as big as her face... and then for somereason I imagined the scene from shrek (the first) Where Shrek puts his hand over Fiona's face to calm her down xD
