Description
This is my Memorial Day Tribute to all the men and women who have served in the American Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard, and National Guard and have lost their lives in service to our country. From the French and Indian War to the War of 1812 to World War II to Afghanistan, I honor their sacrifice and bravery. Just think about it. They had families, friends, homes, passions, hopes, dreams, and they gave all those up and put them aside to DIE FOR THIS COUNTRY. They died FOR YOU. We can NEVER forget that. Memorial Day isn't a day for barbequing! It's a day to remember, honor, and grieve for those who gave their lives so that we, people they probably never knew, could live and enjoy the freedom of the USA.

In this picture, I have a military cross surrounded by the names of the major battles the USA has fought and events in which Americans died. They are: Chosin, Pusan, Khe Sanh, Fallujah, Chapultepec, Vicksburg, Lexington and Concord, Champion Hill, Atlanta, D-Day, Somalia, Okinawa, Bataan, Pearl Harbor, Bull Run, Trenton, Chancellorsville, Hurtgen Forest, Long Island, Little Bighorn, Antienam, Saipan, Guadalcanal, Inchon, Ticonderoga, Iwo Jima, Lundy's Lane, Marne, Battle of the Bulge, Atlantic, Tonkin, Gettysburg, New Orleans, Bunker Hill, Meuse-Argonne, Shiloh, Midway, Italy, the Alamo, the Philippines, Fort Sumter, Richmond, Yorktown, Flanders, Syria and Peking.
The wars we have fought in are underlined. They are: the French and Indian War, the Revolutionary War, the war of 1812, the Civil War, the Spanish-American War, World War I, World War II, the Korean War, the war in Vietnam, the Gulf War, Kuwait, Iraq, and Afghanistan.

I hope I have done the war dead of our country justice. I also salute the war dead of our closest allies, Canada and Britain. Thank you for your help. May the fallen Rest In Peace. God bless all of you. As God died to make us holy, you died to make us free. Thank you for your sacrifice.

Is it a hobby of yours to make your little sister weep tears of sadness?
