Properties of the Lexicon of the Abyssal Seal:
Abyssal Whispers: The wielder of the lexicon may call upon the bound demon for knowledge, gaining insights into dark magic or forbidden lore.
Demon's Might: Once per day, the wielder can channel the demon's power to enhance their physical strength or spell potency, at the risk of the demon attempting to influence their actions.
Sealed Command: The user can attempt to command the bound demon to perform a task or attack, but must succeed on a contested will check against the demon's own formidable will.
Curses of the Lexicon of the Abyssal Seal:
Eternal Hunger: The demon within seeks to consume the life force of those nearby. The wielder must make a DC 17 Constitution saving throw after each use, or suffer exhaustion as the demon siphons their vitality.
Abyssal Gaze: Gazing upon the book can draw the attention of other abyssal creatures. Each time the lexicon is used, there is a chance that abyssal fiends may sense its presence and be drawn to it.
Infernal Rebellion: If the wielder fails the contested will check, they may temporarily lose control to the demon, acting under its influence as it seeks to free itself or spread chaos.
