Funny how this is based on the Nagase from the Assault Horizon universe, both the skin and Nagase herself.

Ok, this has a 2D engine nozzle (or possibly a vectoring nozzle, but both are proven technologies) and a top-mount intake, I think unused since the en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_Am… Ultra Sabre.

I realised that; my point was that all the features have been used IRL so it should be buildable given sufficient development funds.

You'll notice, though, that all of these aircraft were either cancelled or retired. Sure, the concept is there, but flying at high speeds with forward swept wings puts way too much stress on the wings and airframe. It's just not as great as your regular wing design.

The 2 reverse-swept designs were prototypes, so it's no great surprise that they are retired.
