What can I say? I LOVE the concept of elementalism (no, I do not watch much Avatar, but I wish I could [lack of time])

Soooo... I decided to practice drawing Geokinesis and Hydrokinesis.

Geokinesis was the easiest since it was just a matter of drawing lots of rocks. The one with the fissure was a bit harder, though, but Im pleased with the outcome. I portrayed 3 basic concepts: pull rocks out of the ground, simple rock throwing (assume that they travel at 100km/hr, making them deadly projectiles...) and seismic-based abilities (fissure 8D).

For hydrokinesis (my favorite form of elementalism <3), man it was HARD!!! I failed at drawing water at first so I went and used some refference from a manga. After I learned to draw better, I tried my own water effects (they still closely resemble the ones I refferenced, though...). The water-dragon idea came from one of my childhood animes: Mushrambo (released as "Shinzo" in Mexico) where the character Saago could create them.

Once I learn to draw fire and air, ill give them a try. Ill need to learn to scan better before that, though Perhaps I should stop making most of my drawings in my sketchbook...
