Don't'cha hate when you lose interest in working on a picture partway through? I meant to give it more seperation, but oh well, good enough!
Another teenybopper picture. This one's Alora (Lance's sister) and Sheeba. Sheeba was haaaard to do younger because the only really consistant thing about the way I draw her is her super-distinctive haircut and style... which she didn't exactly have when Perfect Kismet starts! I think I did good, though, if you cover up her hair it looks like her face. I think

Everything about this is great. You did wonderfully on all your tones, as usual. And there's that distincitive style of yours I love so much. I think that the highlights of this piece, to me, would have to be Sheeba's hair (wow, that's a lot of curly detail), the background, and the hands. They're just superb.
Keep it up, lest one of your artist friends feel the need to poke you relentlessly. Or I do.

these are the kind of pics where you can't help but really admire and be inspired by you, for you are seriously talented that's the simplest way to say it, but you're truely talented. you capture emotion soo whell, and even manage the smallest details. The way her eyes sparkle, shes so innocent and beautiful, you just want to wrap her in a hug and keep her safe. Gorgeous, I love it. It's really so beautiful. This is just beautiful. The hair is separated, shaded, and presented perfectly. Their ages are represented perfectly. The folds in the clothes are way above par, superb even. Because they are so detailed and the background was left slightly lighter and blurry, it gives more focus to them but at the same time sets a wonderful mood to the piece.
I might be one of the first to say this, but Alora is really captivating in this. Maybe it's because there's so much focus on Sheeba in the picture. Maybe it's because of the dark, vivid youthful expression she's got, but Alora simply hugging her is the last thing you really find yourself drawn to... yet she's the one I stared at the longest. On Alora's eyes, even though she's younger in this than she is now, you can still see the wisdom in them. Aaaand she looks like she should... bearing resemblance to Lance, I mean, featurewise. BIG thumbs up to that part alone.
