Description
'But this is touching, Severus,' said Dumbledore seriously. 'Have you grown to care for the boy, after all?''For him?' shouted Snape. 'Expecto patronum!'
From the tip of his wand burst the silver doe; she landed on the office floor, bounded once across the office and soared out of the window. Dumbledore watched her fly away, and as her silvery glow faded he turned back to Snape, and his eyes were full of tears.
'After all this time?'
'Always,' said Snape.
(from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K.Rowling)
Here's finally my long overdue tribute to the great. late Richard Harris. Just imagine him being Albus Dumbledore in Severus Snape's last memories...
I don't mean to belittle Michael Gambon - he's a brilliant actor in his own right - but for me he just isn't Dumbledore. Richard Harris always was and always will be.
Pencil, watercolour, white ink on watercolour paper.

Very well done!
It reminds me of first two HP films and how my obsession with this series turned on

Awww, me too. Just watched the 2002 "The Count of Monte Christo" again the other day. He plays the fellow prisoner like a mad Dumbledore in Azkaban. Brilliant.

I LOVED him in The Count of MonteCristo. Him and Jim Caviezel were amazing.

Aw, thanks, babes. And for the fav! Ohoo, need to re-watch the film, it has been a while.. Weeell, from what I hear, Mr.Gambon can very much have his own mind about things....at least on stage, so probably not different in front of camera...
God ,I want to come up with an Alan Rickman pic for Saturday - his birthday. Bloody extra work this week - urgh, so not much time.
